For the music-loving guy, a vintage suitcase transformed into a boom box would be a pretty amazing gift.
A vintage wooden level repurposed into a coat rack? I just ADORE this (and kind of want one myself)!
DIY some fishing lures from the bottle caps of his favorite beer- what a fantastic idea.
Oh my goodness, speaking of beer- gift him with a mini-fridge and give it a beer safe makeover.
For the computer guy that’s always on the move- a circuit board luggage tag!
Sneaky and savvy- a book safe carved for a flask. I’ll never tell… 
An old rake head is ideal for organizing wrenches by size– garage organization never goes out of style.
Buy or DIY a bird house with a tin roof– using an old license plate!
There are LOTS of variations on this, but a DIY Survival Kit in an Altoids tin is a great idea. This one’s for the outdoorsman, but there are urban versions, too. Whether it’s for the truck or the briefcase, he’ll be prepared no matter what.
New and improved classic safety razors are all the buzz…and a shaving mirror from a vintage car? Sign me up.
When the kids are grown and the swing set is abandoned, don’t toss it! With a little elbow grease, you’ll have the most enviable outdoor grilling station around.
Guys LOVE their t-shirts, and, well sometimes he grows…or sometimes they shrink. And I am not judging!! But salvage them as man cave wall art, especially if they are really loved.

Old golf clubs are easy to find…and what a great space saver in his closet: A DIY Tie Organizer.
